Freelancers tend to be overly optimistic about the project and how much they can do. Let’s face it, people are bad at timing. More experienc freelancers understand that they are valuable, which means you have to constantly motivate them, question them and convince them to actually work. Let’s think about what you, as a customer, can do about it.
Agree on all deadlines before starting
Work – how much time per day is ne, what female number data will be the communication channel (you ne to contact at least once a week), what you will consider as visible results, what will be the milestones, etc. Basically, the less freom of thought you leave, the more chances you have for real, productive work. Be realistic about yourself.
If you want to create another Facebook in a week
We have good and bad news for you. Good news – you will find a freelancer who will promise to do it for you. The bad news is they won’t. As how to measure the success of your multi-channel marketing campaigns they say – “nine women cannot give birth to a child in one month”. Keep communicating and don’t initiate. Always ask – “How are you doing?”, make it a habit to participate in the project – give feback, answer questions quickly and be visible.
A client who gives an assignment and disappears for weeks is the worst motivator
Freelancers want to feel valu and bulk lead heard. After all, it’s about money. Let’s be completely honest. If you are looking for the cheapest workforce – you will find it. And then again you will look for people who are more experienc and can fix the work of those who came before, or even start from scratch. You get what you pay for. That’s right, we’ve already touch on two issues – how to hire and how to work with freelancers.
